About Rookoo
Rookoo is a Ghent-based startup with a clear mission: helping the event industry work smarter with AI. Our AI-driven digital colleagues take over repetitive tasks, strengthen customer service, and give teams back the space to focus on what truly matters: guests and memorable experiences.
Behind Rookoo is a team of experienced customer service specialists. Our founders worked together for more than eight years in a SaaS environment focused on digital customer service. That hands-on experience forms the foundation of our technology today.
In early 2024, the team began experimenting with various large language models (LLMs). The goal was ambitious yet clear: to build a centralized environment where AI assistants actively support organizations and help them grow.
Our AI assistants support organizations across websites, inboxes, and social media, and communicate directly with customers via WhatsApp. This enables faster, more consistent, and more personal communication.
The name Rookoo refers to the characteristic sound of a pigeon. Not by coincidence: pigeons are known for their strong ability to collaborate, their willingness to experiment, and their impressive track record in task management (think Project Pigeon). For centuries, they have helped deliver messages efficiently. That's exactly what our digital colleagues do today.
