💭 I don't like credits
As we build our SaaS company, Rookoo, we’re starting with a blank slate—leveraging the latest tech, inspired by lean methodologies, and embedding AI across our processes to make everything more efficient.
But something keeps nagging at me... what’s with all the tools using credits now? 🤔
It feels like every service requires credits on top of your subscription. Export a file. That’s 1 credit. Fill your CRM. Another credit, please. It’s like microtransactions have snuck their way into our work tools—and honestly, it’s giving me anxiety. 😬
I find myself hesitating. Do I really want to use a credit for this? Should I save it for later? And suddenly, I’m abandoning tools just because I’m afraid of running out of these arbitrary credits.
This makes me wonder: Are we overcomplicating pricing for the sake of flexibility? Or are we losing sight of what users really want—clarity and simplicity?
